A UK energy company, part of Iberdrola, running graduate programmes, graduate apprenticeships and trainee roles in Scotland, Merseyside, North Wales and East Anglia.
ScottishPower is a UK energy company that generates renewable electricity, runs electricity networks through SP Energy Networks, and supplies customers. Its early careers roles cover engineering, technology, project management, accountancy and other business areas.
ScottishPower's graduate page says "accelerating net zero is at the heart of everything we do" and invites graduates to help "shape the future of energy". It is part of the Iberdrola group.
A ScottishPower news release dated 21 October 2024 said its 2025 recruitment included roles in Scotland, Merseyside, North Wales and East Anglia, with East Anglia supporting offshore renewables work.
ScottishPower describes hands-on learning, technical training, cohort events and "a strong support network", and lists Carer Positive, Young Person's Guarantee and Disability Confident Employer. These are the company's own claims.
The October 2024 release announced 325 early career roles for 2025: over 100 graduate placements and over 200 trainee roles, with a two-year graduate programme, graduate apprenticeships and trainee roles. Its graduate page asks for an honours degree at 2:2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and shows an application window of September 2025 to January 2026 with a September 2027 welcome (the dates look inconsistent, so check them). We found no pay information or programme lengths other than the two-year graduate programme.
