A London venture firm that backs founders at the very first stages of building a company.
Seedcamp is an early-stage venture investor. It backs founders at the pre-seed and seed stages, which means when a company is little more than an idea and a small team. It says it has backed more than 550 companies over 18 years.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Seedcamp says it invests early in "world-class founders attacking global markets" and describes three themes: an unrivalled network, unfiltered advice and unwavering support.
The team is based in a central London office, and a Legal Analyst/Associate role listed on a venture jobs board is also in London.
Seedcamp describes a "low ego" team that values curiosity, works to a high standard and treats no task as too small (company claim). An older job listing says it values intellectual curiosity over top university degrees and promotes people internally (as at 2023).
The clearest entry route is the Visiting Analyst role, a six-month placement in the first half of 2026 working on finding deals, reviewing opportunities, writing memos and supporting the portfolio. It paid £35,000 a year pro rata and applications were through an online form. The company says past analysts have moved into other venture firms or start-ups. That placement may have closed, so check the Seedcamp site for the next one.
