The global financial messaging network that banks use for cross-border payments, with an in-office team in London.
Swift is a global financial messaging organisation. Banks, central banks, financial institutions and payment providers use its network, and it works on making cross-border payments faster and more transparent.
The pages we read had no formal mission statement. One listing says Swift is "driving the long-term future of the financial ecosystem" and calls it "the way the world moves value".
Swift has London-based, in-office roles (customer-facing, product and standards work), and a London placement was advertised for 2025. A job board lists about 4,700 employees worldwide, which is company-wide, not a UK figure.
We did not find a description of Swift's culture on the pages we read.
A Marketing and Reporting Placement in London (Product Excellence team) was advertised in 2024 for the 2025 year, for people with an interest in finance and technology and good Microsoft Office skills. Applications closed 28 November 2024 and the length was not stated. This is dated, so check Swift's careers page for current placements.
