The company's careers material describes an ambitious, global consultancy with a fast-paced environment that emphasises growth and working with motivated people. It states a commitment to recruiting from a range of backgrounds and to equal opportunities.
London was one of Teneo's early offices. In 2015 it bought the London-based communications firms Blue Rubicon and StockWell and then Pendomer Communications, and in 2016 it brought its UK communications business together as Teneo Blue Rubicon with about 250 people in new offices near London Bridge. It has since added the UK restructuring business formerly part of Deloitte (2021) and the UK PR firm Tulchan (2023). Today the firm has more than 40 offices and about 1,600 professionals worldwide, according to a 2025 summary. Its management consulting division operates in London, New York and Dubai.
The London Strategy and Communications team advises chief executives and leadership teams on reputational and business issues, with clients that include many FTSE 100 companies. The team's published job description mentions writing press releases and strategic messaging, building media relationships, tracking market and policy developments and supporting new business with research. The firm says staff can work across several disciplines and use an in-house talent development team, and it offers flexible working hours. These are the firm's own descriptions.
Teams in London include financial communications, government affairs, crisis and reputation specialists, executive search, restructuring and consulting staff, plus business support. Built In London lists associate director and associate consultant roles. A good grounding for this kind of firm is strong writing, interest in business and politics, and the ability to work with senior people under time pressure.
