Trooli

A Kent-founded full fibre broadband builder that has grown from Kings Hill across the south and east of England and parts of Scotland, selling mainly through partner internet providers.

About Trooli

Trooli builds full fibre broadband networks, where glass fibre cables run all the way into the home. A 2026 report says its network covers more than 477,000 UK homes, including parts of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Dorset, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk, West Sussex and Wiltshire in England, and parts of North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and Fife in Scotland. Its speeds at launch included symmetrical connections of up to 1Gbps. It sells directly to customers and also lets other internet providers use its network.

Trooli began as a sibling brand of Call Flow Solutions, a UK internet provider founded by former BT executive Andy Conibere that first offered fixed wireless and copper-based services. In 2018 it launched Trooli to build full fibre, starting in Kent, and in January 2021 the parent company moved to the Trooli name. Mr Conibere said the change "reflects our faith in this technology". He remains chief executive. In April 2024 Trooli took over a Scottish full fibre network that had been run by Axione UK.

Trooli was headquartered at 18 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, near West Malling in Kent, from late 2021, when it said it had 170 staff, up from 114 at the start of that year. Those figures are from 2021. The company said at that time that it expected to grow to around 300. Mr Conibere described Kings Hill as feeling like home, and said many of the team live locally and that the company is committed to the local community.

On the people side, Trooli sponsors Kings Hill Football Club and says it wants to offer opportunities to local people. We found little first-party material on its values or culture, so we cannot say more. A careers site exists, and a role we saw there was for an FTTP project supervisor, a person who oversees the build of fibre networks on the ground, which shows the kind of practical roles the company hires.

In the last two years Trooli has agreed partnerships with wholesale providers so that more internet companies can use its network. In March 2025 it signed with PXC (formerly TalkTalk Wholesale), and in April 2026 PXC began offering residential full fibre over Trooli's network to partner providers. A company like this needs network designers, project supervisors, surveyors, field engineers, customer support, commercial and partnership staff, and finance and technology teams. Engineering, geography, business and computing are natural subjects to study for these roles.
