About VINCI Construction UK

VINCI Construction Holding UK is the holding company for VINCI's UK construction businesses. Under one structure it brings together Eurovia, which does roads and surfacing work, Ringway, which looks after and improves roads, Taylor Woodrow, a civil engineering specialist, VINCI Building, which builds structures, VINCI Facilities, and FM Conway, a highways business that VINCI bought at the end of January 2025. Together they build, repair and look after roads, buildings, railways and civil structures across the country.

Taylor Woodrow has a long history. VINCI's UK arm agreed in September 2008 to take over Taylor Woodrow Construction from Taylor Wimpey, and the press release said that business worked in buildings, infrastructure and facilities management, with rail, airport and energy infrastructure as well as healthcare and education work. The chief executive, Scott Wardrop, said in 2026 that each business has a three-year plan and that the company aims to become a resilient UK infrastructure group. We found no formal mission statement on the pages we read; trade reports describe the company's themes as optimisation, innovation and transformation.

In UK terms, the 2025 results reported by Construction Enquirer in August 2026 showed the whole group employing nearly 9,000 people, a rise of more than a third, mainly through the FM Conway deal. The report gave the group's revenue for 2025 as £2.9bn including joint ventures, with the individual businesses at the following sizes: Ringway £551m, VINCI Facilities £581m, FM Conway £569m, VINCI Building £525m, Taylor Woodrow £388m and Eurovia £202m. No specific projects were named in the pages we read, and no list of offices. Our UK presence evidence is therefore the company's own UK registration and trade reporting, rather than a first-party page.

On people and culture we found little. The 2026 report suggests a company that has recently reorganised, with each of the six businesses led by its own managing director, which usually means local leadership and a lot of responsibility for staff. The company's own recruitment pages were not read, and anything about working there should be treated as unchecked.

The work needs a wide range of people: site engineers and managers, quantity surveyors, planners, health and safety specialists, surfacing and highways crews, civil engineers, estimators, facilities engineers, and the finance, commercial and people teams that support them. If you like the idea of seeing a road, a building or a rail structure go from drawings to something you can use, this kind of employer offers many ways in.
