About ZAVA

ZAVA is an online doctor service. Patients answer medical questions online, a UK-registered doctor reviews them, and treatment is posted from its own pharmacy. It covers over 40 conditions, including contraception, weight loss and sexual health, and sells test kits.

Its stated vision is to "stop the fear of judgement damaging the world's health". Its founder describes the aim as healthcare that is accessible and dependable at a fraction of today's costs.

The UK service is run by Health Bridge Limited, registered in England and Wales, with its registered office on Essex Road, Islington, London. ZAVA also works in Germany and France, and began in 2011 under the name DrEd.

ZAVA's own page says it employs over 250 people, including doctors, pharmacists, engineers, designers, marketers and patient support. It also says all its doctors are registered with the General Medical Council. Its page gives two different staff figures, so treat the numbers as approximate.

Current vacancies are on its careers site, which we did not read. We found no graduate scheme or internship, so look there for entry-level roles in support and operations.
